Penta Communication

Down in Nandini Layout 17, our place is called Penta Communication. It is mostly just a front room where we help people with their phones and internet stuff. We have some posters on the walls that have been there for years and are starting to peel at the edges. There is a small counter where we sit and talk to anyone who walks in. A lot of the older people from the neighborhood come to us when they can’t figure out their new gadgets. We spend time explaining things simply and helping them set up their accounts. It’s not a fast-paced business, and we like it that way. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to the news or a cricket match. Sometimes the neighbors just stop by to say hello even if they don't need to buy anything. We keep a stock of SIM cards and some basic accessories in the drawers. The chairs are a bit old and they creak when you sit down. We don't have a fancy website or any big advertisements. Most people just know we are here because they walk past us every day. The evenings are the busiest when people are coming back from work and need to pay their bills. We stay open until the street lights have been on for a while. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop. We use a thick diary with a red cover to track the daily sales.
