If you come down to Attiguppe D S Lane 64, you will find us hunched over small workbenches at A R Mobile Service Center & Mobile Accessories. The shop is quite narrow, with glass cases lining the walls filled with all kinds of phone covers and chargers. Most of my day is spent looking through a magnifying lamp at tiny circuit boards and screws that are barely visible to the naked eye. It’s quiet work that requires a lot of patience. People come in all day with cracked screens or phones that won't turn on, and they always seem a bit stressed out about it. We don't promise miracles, we just sit there and try to figure out what’s wrong with the hardware. The smell of solder and hot plastic is pretty much always in the air. We have a lot of different tools scattered around, from tiny screwdrivers to heat guns. It gets a bit cluttered behind the counter with all the spare parts we keep in little plastic bins. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, so the phones pile up in a tray near the window. We try to keep things moving so people aren't without their devices for too long. The street outside is usually busy with people walking to the main road. It’s a small shop but it stays busy because everyone has a phone that needs something eventually. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work.
