Paying Guest

I run this paying guest accommodation right here in the Lima Building on 15 Cunningham Road. We are directly across from the Le Meridien Hotel, which is the big landmark people always use to find us when they are coming from the station or the airport. Living and working here means you see a lot of different people coming and going every single day. The building is a bit older, but it has a certain feel to it that you don't get with the new glass towers they are putting up everywhere else. We have students and working guys staying with us, so there is always some noise in the hallways or someone complaining about the internet speed or the food. I spend a lot of my time making sure the water is running and the cook shows up on time to make breakfast for everyone. It’s a busy part of town, and the traffic on Cunningham Road can be a real headache during office hours. You can hear the cars honking even from the back rooms sometimes. The rooms are pretty basic, with just enough space for a bed and a cupboard, but the place stays full because of where we are located. Most of the residents just need a place to sleep and a hot meal after a long day at work or college. I try to keep the place decent, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint.
