If you come down to Cooke Town near the Iddgha Maiden, you will find Payal Jewellers And Telecom at Prem Nagar 1. It’s a bit of an unusual mix, I know. My father started the jewelry side of things a long time ago, and I added the telecom part because that’s what people were asking for. One side of the shop has the glass cases for the gold and silver items, and the other side is where I keep the mobile phones and accessories. It makes the shop look a bit crowded, but we make it work. Most days it’s just the two of us here. My father handles the regular jewelry customers who have been coming to him for decades.
