Pawan Telecom

Over at Pawan Telecom in Kamagondanahalli, things are pretty straightforward. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything, just a basic shop where we handle mobile phones and recharges. The area here has its own pace, and we just follow along with it. Most days start with opening up and sweeping the front. Then it's just waiting for the first customer to come in with a broken screen or a SIM that won't register. We have a lot of different cables and covers piled up because everyone has a different phone these days. It gets a bit overwhelming trying to keep track of every new model that comes out, but we do our best to stay updated. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put things. It’s often just one of us working, so if it gets busy, people have to wait a bit. Nobody seems to mind too much. We talk about local news while we work. It’s a quiet kind of business. We’ve been in Kamagondanahalli for a while now and we like the people around here. They’re honest and they just want their phones to work so they can talk to their families. That’s what we help with, nothing more, nothing less. It’s just our little corner of the world. We don't really have a huge range of things, just the basics that get people through their day. It works for us.
