Pavan

Our place is at 14 Padmanabhanagar, inside Channappa Mansion on the 2nd floor. It’s on A S Char Street in Bangalore, near Gowris Shivanivas. Being on the 2nd floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, which is always busy. The building is called Channappa Mansion, but don't let the name fool you, it’s just a regular old building. Pavan is the name we go by here. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs every day, but it keeps us moving. We don't have an elevator, so we carry everything up and down by hand. It’s a bit chaotic on A S Char Street sometimes with all the traffic and people. Bangalore is a big city, but our corner feels like a little community. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine. It has some old furniture and heaps of files, but we know where everything is. It’s a real working space, not a showroom. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We just get on with the tasks and try to stay organized. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we don’t mind. It’s just how it is at our spot in Padmanabhanagar. We stay busy and don't worry much about the small stuff. Just doing our thing day after day.
