Patang Cafe & Restaurant

Patang Cafe & Restaurant is up on the third floor of the Radha Swamy Complex. We are right next to Residency College in Hebbal Kempapura. Being on the third floor means people have to walk up or take the lift but it gives us a bit of a view of the street below. The college students come by quite often and the place can get a bit loud with all their talking and laughing. We don’t mind it. It makes the place feel alive. We’ve got a few tables set up and we try to keep things tidy but with the wind coming in from the windows it’s a constant task. The kitchen isn't very big so we have to stay very organized so we don't bump into each other. We spend a lot of our time making sure the supplies are stocked up since we go through them fast. The complex itself is usually busy with other shops too. We’ve known the security guard downstairs for a long time. He helps point people our way if they look lost. Running a cafe is a lot of small tasks that never seem to end. We make the coffee and prep the snacks and just keep going until closing time. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. No big frills or anything special. We just do what we can with the space we have.
