Parvat Computers

If you look for 123/4 Sardar Patrappa Road, you’ll find us in the Sri KB Complex in W block. It is a bit of a maze in here sometimes with all the different shops and offices. We spend our time looking at computer screens and poking around inside CPU cabinets. There are always keyboards, mouse cables, and spare monitors piled up on the workbenches. People come in with laptops that won't turn on or computers that have slowed down to a crawl. We sit here under the tube lights and try to figure out if it’s a software thing or if some part just burned out. Sardar Patrappa Road is always noisy with traffic, but it’s quiet enough inside the complex once you get used to it. We’ve seen all kinds of machines come through here, from really old ones to the newer models. Sometimes we're just cleaning out dust from the fans because that makes a big difference. We don't use any big fancy words, we just tell people what we found and if it can be fixed or not. It’s a small space, filled with the smell of solder and old plastic. Parvat Computers has been in this spot for a while now, and we just keep at it, one motherboard at a time. It’s steady work and we like seeing a machine boot up again after we’ve spent an hour on it. People usually just drop their stuff off and come back later.
