About Parijatha Roller Flour Mills – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
We've been here at 19, Mysore Deviation Road for a long time now. The rollers keep turning through the day, making that steady hum that people around here probably know by heart. It gets a bit dusty inside, naturally, but that is just how it goes in a flour mill. You learn to live with the white powder on your boots. My father used to say the machines have their own moods. Some mornings they start right up, other days they need a bit of coaxing. We deal with lots of bags coming in and going out. It is hard work, mostly lifting and checking the grain quality. The road outside can get busy with traffic, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing in because the space is tight. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk with a lot of papers and a phone that rings more than it should. We get the local bakers coming by and some regulars who have been buying from us since I was a kid. It is a simple setup, really. We just focus on the grinding and making sure the flour is consistent. The heat in the summer makes it tough, but we keep the fans going. It’s just what we do here every day, without much fuss. If you walk past, you’ll likely see one of us out front talking to a driver or checking a delivery note. It’s just life at Parijatha Roller Flour Mills.
