P M K Transport is based on the first floor over at the Dairy Complex in 2 Attibele Pant Nagar. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement, especially with the dairy trucks and other transport businesses nearby. You have to walk up the stairs to find us at our office. The space is small and usually smells a bit like diesel and old paper. We have a couple of desks and a phone that doesn’t stop ringing some days. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s where we get everything done. Attibele is a major hub for this kind of work, so we’re right in the middle of it all. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and talking to drivers on their mobile phones. Pant Nagar is a tight-knit community, and we know most of the other people working in the Dairy Complex. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that’s just part of life here. We don't have a mission statement or a polished brochure to hand out. We just tell people where we are and what we do. P M K Transport has been at this 1st-floor spot for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the constant pace of the trucks outside. It’s hard work, but it’s our work. We keep a logbook on the main desk and it’s filled with names and dates from years back.
