Even though our name mentions Bangalore, our main permanent spot is actually in Belgaum. We are located at Shankar Parvathi Nivas, which is on Plot Number 27 in the Buda Colony of Anagol. It’s a quiet residential area and the office is basically a house that we converted. We help people find jobs, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and looking at resumes on our screens. It’s a lot of matching people with what they are good at. We get folks coming in looking for all sorts of work, from office jobs to factory positions. Sometimes we can help them right away and other times it takes a few weeks to find a match. We aren't one of those big fancy agencies with a lot of glass walls and leather chairs. We just have some desks and a few computers in a small room. It’s a local operation and we like it that way. Most of the people we work with are from around here or looking to move for work. The office stays pretty busy during the week with people dropping off their papers. We have a small sign so people can find us in the colony. It’s not always easy work because everyone is looking for something different, but we do what we can. Belgaum is a nice place to be based. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now and the neighbors are used to seeing us around.
