Open Minds Junior School

Open Minds Junior School is right here at 12-45 on 2nd Cross Road in Yalburgi Colony. Jayanagar is a nice enough place for a school like ours. We mostly deal with the younger children, so the atmosphere is usually a bit loud with kids playing and talking. The school is basically a converted house or a similar small building, which makes it feel a bit more like home for the little ones who are just starting out. We have some colorful walls and basic toys in the play area. The teachers spend their time helping the kids with their first letters and numbers. It’s a lot of repetition and patience. Being in a colony like Yalburgi means most of our students live just a few streets away. Parents often walk their kids to the gate in the morning. We don't have a huge playground, but there's enough space for them to run around a bit during the break. The classrooms are small and cozy. We keep things pretty simple here. There are no big corporate systems or complicated rules. It’s just about looking after the kids and giving them a place to start their schooling. The staff is local and we’ve been in this Jayanagar spot for a while. It’s a quiet street usually, except when school starts or ends for the day. We’ve seen many kids come through these doors and move on to bigger schools.
