Kidzee

We are located right on Brigade Road, up on the second floor of 5th Avenue, just across from the Pizza Hut. It’s a busy spot, which is great for parents who are already in the area for work or errands. We run the preschool here at 212/213, so the rooms are usually filled with toys, drawings, and a lot of noise from the kids. It isn't one of those quiet, sterile offices you see in the city. There are always handprints on the glass and stacks of colored paper everywhere. We’ve got a team of teachers who have a lot of patience, which you definitely need in this job. We spend our days following a routine, but with kids, something unexpected always happens. Maybe someone spills juice or doesn't want to nap, and we just handle it as it comes. It’s a practical environment focused on keeping the little ones occupied and learning a bit while they are at it. We don't go for those big, fancy educational buzzwords or theories. We just try to make sure the kids are safe and having a decent time while their parents are at work. The space is colorful and a bit messy most afternoons, but that’s how a place for children should be. It’s a lot of work, but we like being in the heart of the city near everything.
