Ontoes Events

We’ve been over here on Brigade Road at 121 19 for a while now. Most days it’s just us trying to figure out how to get things from point A to point B without too much trouble. Ontoes Events is what we call it, though most people just know us by name around the block. Setting up for stuff takes a lot of time and usually involves a few missed lunches. We don’t have some big fancy office with glass walls, just a workspace where we keep all the gear and cables. It’s noisy outside most of the time, being right in the middle of everything. If you walk past, you’ll probably see us unloading a van or checking a list for the hundredth time. It isn't always pretty work, honestly. There's a lot of lifting and late nights involved in what we do. We just sort of fell into this line of work because we liked being where the action is. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and we have to run down the street to get through the afternoon. That’s just how it goes. We try to keep things simple and just get the job done so people can have their gatherings without worrying about the small details we're handling in the background. It's a living, and it keeps us busy enough. We don't have all the answers, but we have enough experience to handle the bumps in the road when they happen.
