This place is way down on Hosur Road, in the Bommasandra Industrial Area. It’s a long drive from the main part of Bangalore. We’re at No. 3 on the 2nd Cross, right across from the KIADB quarters. It’s more like a home than a hotel for a lot of people who stay here. They’re usually here for weeks at a time because of work in the industrial estate. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars. The building is simple, and we have to keep an eye on things because of all the industrial trucks moving around outside. It gets a bit noisy with the factories nearby, but you get used to it. The staff here is just a few of us who have been around for a long time. We know which rooms have the best light and which ones are quieter. Dealing with the Anekal Tq logistics can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We focus on keeping the place clean and making sure everyone has what they need for their stay. It’s not a glamorous part of town, but it’s where all the work happens.
