Our place is right on Cottonpet at 27/2. It’s a busy street with a lot of noise and people walking by at all hours of the day. At Online Communication, we handle a bit of everything here, from mobile recharges to helping people with online forms and internet stuff. The shop is quite narrow, so if there are more than three people inside, it feels very full and cramped. We have a couple of old computers against the wall that have seen better days but still work okay for what we need. People come in when they are stuck with something on their phones or need a printout of a ticket for the bus. We don't have any big corporate backing, it’s just us trying to make a living in the city. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking noise that we stopped noticing years ago. It’s a practical shop for the neighborhood. We know most of our customers by name because they live just a few streets away. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to wait for the provider to fix it, which can be frustrating for everyone. We keep a stock of SIM cards and basic phone accessories on the glass counter. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s helpful for the people around here who aren't great with technology. We just keep the doors open and see who walks in.
