One Stop Shop India

Our little shop is tucked away on 1st Main Road in Basavanagudi, right in the Vijayrangamma Layout. It’s one of those places where you can find a bit of everything if you look long enough. We started One Stop Shop India because we saw that people in this neighborhood needed a place to get things without traveling too far. The shelves are usually packed, and sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you want right away, but we usually know where everything is. Basavanagudi is a busy area, so there’s always someone coming through the door. We spend a lot of time stocking items and checking what’s running low. It’s not a big corporate store with bright lights and matching uniforms. It’s just us here, making sure the locals have what they need for their homes. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a minute, and we have to hurry to get things inside. The floor might need a sweep more often than we get to it, but that’s because people are always walking in and out. We talk to the regulars about their day and keep the change ready. It’s a simple business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer to arrive. It’s quiet in the early hours, then it picks up speed as the sun gets higher.
