On Break

The office is on Oil Mill Road in Lingaraj Puram, Bangalore. The name "On Break" might sound like we aren't doing anything, but we’re actually quite busy most of the time. It’s a bit of a funny name for a business, but it fits our personality. Lingaraj Puram is a lively area and Oil Mill Road has its own character. We’re in a building that’s seen better days, but it’s got everything we need to get our work done. We don't have a fancy reception area or a coffee machine that makes lattes. Usually, we just boil some water for instant tea or head out to one of the local spots. Our days are filled with the usual stuff—emails, calls, and trying to keep our files in some kind of order. It’s not a polished environment. You might see some dust on the shelves or a stack of papers that hasn't been touched in a week. We like it that way because it feels real. We don't have a corporate manual telling us how to speak. We just talk like normal people and do our jobs. It’s a small operation and we like the independence it gives us. Being on Oil Mill Road means we’re right in the middle of a real neighborhood, not some sterile office park. It suits us just fine.
