Our office is at number 20, on the 3rd Main at 7th C’ Cross in Bangalore. We’ve been here in the 560034 neighborhood for quite a while. We are Omam Consultants Services, and we mostly spend our time helping businesses find the right staff and managing their human resources stuff. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and meeting people for interviews. Some people think it’s easy to just match a person to a job, but it’s actually quite tricky to get it right. We don't have a big, shiny office with glass walls. It’s a regular building where the fans are always spinning and there are stacks of resumes on the desks. We try to be honest with everyone who walks through the door. If we don’t have a job for someone, we tell them straight instead of giving them false hope. The area around 3rd Main is always busy, so there’s plenty of life around us. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in India or anything like that. We just want to keep our local clients happy and make sure the people we place are doing okay. We’ve made a lot of friends in the business world just by being around for so many years. It’s a job that involves a lot of human nature, which can be unpredictable, but that’s also what makes it interesting. We just take it one day at a time.
