Om Sri Telecom

We’ve been here in Nandini Layout 15 for quite a while now. It’s just a small spot, Om Sri Telecom, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. Most days it is just me and my brother handling whatever comes through the door. People come in mostly because their screens are cracked or their batteries aren't holding a charge anymore. It's funny how much folks rely on their phones these days. We see everything from the latest smartphones to those old keypad ones that just won't quit. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We try to get things fixed as fast as we can, but some jobs take longer than others. If a part isn't in stock, we have to wait a day or two for the delivery. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the traffic and the other shops nearby, but we’re used to it. We don't have fancy glass displays or anything like that. Just some wooden shelves with cases and chargers and a workspace in the back where all the tools are kept. It gets dusty, and we’re always cleaning up bits of wire and plastic off the floor. Dealing with customers is usually okay, though some are in more of a hurry than others. We just do the work, count the change, and open up again the next day. It’s a steady living and we know most of the people around here by now.
