Om Shri Telecommunication

Operating out of Sant Dyaneshwar Paduka Chowk 24, right near the Bangalore GPO, is always interesting. There is a lot of movement in this part of town and we see all sorts of people walking past our door every single day. At Om Shri Telecommunication, we deal with a lot of phone-related stuff, like recharges and small repairs that people need done quickly. The shop isn't very large, so things can feel a bit cramped when three or four customers come in at once. We have cables and chargers hanging on the walls and the computer is always humming in the corner. The noise from the chowk outside never really stops, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait around, which can be frustrating when there is work to do. We keep a small stool behind the counter for when things quiet down in the late afternoon. Dealing with phones means we are always looking at small parts and trying to fix things that people dropped. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing. We try to keep the glass display clean, but fingerprints always show up. Life here at number 24 is just about managing the daily flow of people coming from the GPO area. It's a steady pace and we just take each day as it comes, making sure we stay on top of the requests.
