Om Shakti Telecom

Om Shakti Telecom is situated at 193 in Basavanagudi. This is an older part of the city, and we’ve been part of the neighborhood for a long time. Our shop is quite narrow, so there isn't much room for anything other than the counter and a few stools for customers. We handle mobile recharges, new SIM cards, and various types of phone repairs. We have a steady group of regular customers who have been coming to us for their mobile needs for years. We know most of them by name. The walls are covered with posters for different phone plans, some of which are a bit out of date now. When it comes to repairs, we do what we can. If it’s a simple fix, we try to do it while you wait. For bigger problems, we might need a day or two to get the right parts. We think it is better to be honest about what can be fixed. The noise from the traffic on the street is constant, but we have a small radio that we keep on to listen to the news. We don't use any complicated computers to run the shop. We just keep a ledger for our accounts and give out handwritten receipts. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us and our customers here in Basavanagudi.
