We’re located at No-3, Ayippa Road, which is pretty easy to find since it’s right near the Gopalan Mall. Having the mall nearby is helpful for giving people directions, though the traffic on this road can be a bit of a nightmare during the weekends. Oats India Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle all our processing and distribution. The building is a basic commercial structure. Inside, you’ll find sacks of grain and various pieces of equipment for cleaning and packing. It’s not a quiet place. There is always a hum from the fans or the conveyors. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the oats coming in. If the moisture is too high, it causes problems, so we have to be careful. The staff here is mostly local, and we’ve all learned the routine over time. It’s physical work, moving bags around and making sure the loading dock is clear for the trucks. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone comes to the door, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. It’s a practical environment. We focus on getting the orders filled and out the door on time. Sometimes we run late because of a mechanical glitch, but that’s just life in a small plant. We take our work seriously, even if we don't use a lot of big words to describe it. We just keep our heads down.
