Nirmala Provision Stores

We run Nirmala Provision Stores over in J P Nagar. The shop is on Dr B Ambedkar Road, at number 42/3. It’s a typical neighborhood store where we stock everything from rice and dal to soap and biscuits. We’ve seen the kids in this area grow up, coming in for candy after school and now coming in to buy groceries for their own houses. The shelves are always packed, sometimes a bit too much, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over. We don't have a fancy barcode system; we know the prices of most things by heart or check the labels. Dr B Ambedkar Road is a busy street, so there’s always someone popping in for a last-minute item they forgot to buy. We try to keep the shop clean, but with people coming in from the dusty street all day, it’s a constant job. We stay open late because we know people get home from work and realize they don’t have milk or eggs for the next morning. It’s just us working here, keeping the place going day after day. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the name on the front and the goods on the shelves. It’s a simple way to earn a living, serving the people who live right around us in J P Nagar. We’ve been here for many years now, and the routine hasn't changed much. It's just how we like it.
