Nikkhi Impex

Nikkhi Impex is located at 203 M.G. Road, up on the first floor. Being on such a major road means there is never a dull moment. You can hear the buses and the horns all day long, even with the windows shut tight. Our office is one of those older spaces with high ceilings and a bit of a creaky floor in some spots. We have boxes stacked in the corners because we are always moving stuff in and out. It’s a first-floor walk-up, so we get our daily exercise just by going to get tea or picking up the mail. The light isn't great in the back of the room, so we have these big overhead lamps that stay on from morning till night. We deal with impex work, so there’s a lot of staring at spreadsheets and talking to customs agents on the phone. It’s not a fancy setup with modern art or anything; it’s more about the files and the samples we have lying around on the tables. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three things happen at once, but we usually get through it. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the shops downstairs. It’s a busy life on M.G. Road, and we’ve been part of it for a good long time now. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay organized in the middle of all the noise and the constant movement.
