Sadar Patrappa Road is always a chaotic place, and Nikhil Telecom is right in the middle of it at number 70. If you’ve ever been to SP Road, you know how it is—narrow lanes, people pushing carts, and wires everywhere. Our shop is one of many, but we’ve got our own little spot. We mostly deal with mobile parts and electronics that people need for repairs. It’s a fast-paced environment where you have to know exactly where every small component is kept on the shelves. We don't have much space to move around, so we’ve stacked everything high. Most of our customers are shop owners themselves or people who know their way around a motherboard. We talk a lot of shop language here. The noise from the street never really stops until late at night. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused throughout the day. It’s not the kind of place you come to for a relaxed shopping experience. It’s more about finding that one specific part you can’t get anywhere else. We keep the inventory moving because things get outdated so fast in the telecom world. Every morning we open up, sweep the front, and get ready for the crowd. It’s a tough way to work sometimes, but SP Road has a spirit you don’t find anywhere else in the city. We just stay busy and try to keep up with all the orders coming in.
