New Fashion Furniture & Sofa Works

We’ve got our shop at 775 Jayanagar, and we go by New Fashion Furniture & Sofa Works. It’s a bit of a long name for a small place, but it tells you what we do. Mostly, it’s about fixing up old sofas or making new ones from scratch. When you walk in, you’ll probably see rolls of fabric lying around and bits of foam on the floor. It’s a bit cluttered, but that’s because we’re always in the middle of something. We spend a lot of time with hammers, staplers, and sewing machines. It’s not a quiet environment, but it’s not too loud either. We’ve been in Jayanagar for a good while, and we’ve seen the streets change quite a bit. People bring in their old furniture that’s seen better days, and we try to give it a new look. Sometimes we’re working on a big sofa that takes up half the shop, and other times it’s just a small chair. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. You just see the work as it is, right there on the benches. It’s just us doing what we can with the tools we have. We like the neighborhood feel here. It’s nice when a neighbor drops by to ask about a cushion or just to say hello. It’s a simple, local business and we’re happy to keep it that way for as long as we can.
