New Blue Star Furniture

New Blue Star Furniture is located at 470/B in Koramangala VI Bk. We are on Lather Road, which is a place that sees a lot of movement. If you walk into our workshop, the first thing you notice is the smell of wood and polish. It’s a strong scent that sticks to your clothes even after you leave. We have stacks of planks leaning against the walls and half-finished frames sitting in the corners. There is always some sawdust on the floor, no matter how many times we sweep it up. Working with furniture means your hands are always busy and usually a bit dirty. We spend our hours measuring, cutting, and joining pieces together. It’s loud because of the saws and the hammering, but you get used to it after a week or two. Lather Road isn't the quietest place either, with bikes and delivery vans constantly going by. Sometimes people stop in to ask if we can fix a broken chair or make a small shelf for their kitchen. We take a break in the afternoon to sit outside and watch the traffic in Koramangala. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have an old radio that plays local songs while we work. New Blue Star Furniture is just a place where we make things out of wood. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It’s just us, the tools, and the wood in this little corner of the block.
