Neha Roadlines

We’ve been running Neha Roadlines from our spot at 4 Kalipalayam on Popatwadi Kalbadevi Road for quite a while now. It’s a busy area, lots of noise and trucks moving in and out all day. My uncle started this with just one lorry and now we have a few more, mostly moving stuff across the state. Dealing with Kalbadevi traffic is a headache every morning but we manage to get the loads out somehow. We don’t have a big fancy office, just a small desk and some old chairs where the drivers sit and have tea before they head out on the road. Most days involve a lot of phone calls to check where the drivers are and making sure the paperwork is sorted so there aren't problems at the checkpoints. It gets dusty here with all the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We handle a lot of different goods, from cloth to machine parts, whatever fits in the back of the truck really. Sometimes the heavy rains make everything difficult and we have to wait for the roads to clear up, but we keep going. It’s hard work, greasy hands and long hours, but it pays the bills. People around here know us because we’ve been at this address for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just moving goods from point A to point B without too much trouble.
