Nawaz Steel is right in the middle of Peenya, specifically at number 453. If you’ve ever been to Peenya in Bangalore, you know it’s one of the biggest industrial hubs around. It is a maze of small and large units, and we are just one of the many places working with metal every day. The sound of trucks and the clanging of steel is the soundtrack to our lives. Our unit isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It is a functional space designed for moving heavy loads and getting work done. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. It’s just us and the steel. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and making sure the orders are moving out on time. The dust from the road and the smell of cut metal is just part of the environment. We usually have a small group of regulars who come in and out, and we prefer it that way. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when a big shipment arrives, but we make it work. We don’t bother with titles much around here. Everyone pitches in when something needs to be moved. Actually, there are days when the traffic on the main road makes it nearly impossible to get anything in or out on time, but that’s just life in the city. It is just a straightforward steel business in a busy part of town.
