National Travels

Our office is at 13/11 on Pampamahakavi Road in Shankarapuram. We are right near the Basavanagudi swimming pool, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. We handle travel bookings and bus schedules for folks wanting to go all over the place. Our mornings start pretty early because that’s when people want to head out or check on their tickets. It’s a simple setup with a couple of desks and some chairs for people waiting to talk to us. We don't use a lot of fancy booking software; it’s mostly just us keeping track of who is going where and when the buses are supposed to arrive. Sometimes the buses are late because of the weather or the roads, and we have to deal with the fallout from that, which can be stressful. We try to be straight with people about times and prices. We’ve been in this neighborhood for quite a while, and we see a lot of the same faces coming back when they need to make a trip. It isn't a high-end travel agency with brochures of palm trees everywhere. It’s a practical place where you get your ticket and get on your way. We just keep things moving as best as we can. If you’re near the pool, you’ll see our sign. We are just a small team at National Travels making sure people get where they need to go.
