National Novelties

National Novelties is located at number 37 on the 10th Main Road in Gandhi Nagar. If you know this area, you know how hectic it can get with all the shops and people moving around. Our shop is a bit of a treasure trove of random things, hence the name. We have shelves packed with everything from small gift items to basic stationery and household knick-knacks. It’s the kind of place where you might come in for a pen and leave with a clock or a set of decorative bowls. I like the variety of stuff we keep, even if it makes dusting the shelves a real chore. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of wall space we have. Most days are spent chatting with customers who live nearby or work in the other shops on the main road. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps people see all the small items we have tucked away in the corners. We’ve seen Gandhi Nagar change quite a bit over the years, but our little corner has stayed pretty much the same. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it's humid, but we've gotten used to its quirks. We don't have a website or any of that, we just open the shutters every morning and wait for people to walk in. It’s a simple way to run a business and it works for us.
