Nandi Metal Mart

Being located in PR Lane in Nagarathpet means space is a bit tight. It is one of those old parts of the city where the streets are narrow and always busy with people moving things. We have been here for a long time. Our shop deals in various metal goods. You will see stacks of items piled up because we try to keep a lot on hand. It is a bit of a maze inside. We spend our mornings checking inventory and talking to folks who come in looking for specific parts. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone needs in the back. The noise from the street is constant, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know most of the other shop owners around here. It is a hardworking neighborhood. Dealing with metal means our hands are usually a bit dirty. We just try to provide what people are looking for without making a fuss. If the delivery truck is late because of traffic, we just wait it out. That is how life is in Nagarathpet. We keep things simple and just keep the doors open every day. Sometimes the rain makes it tricky to load things, but we manage with some plastic sheets. It is just the way the business goes in this part of town and we are happy staying here.
