Nancy Engineering

Nancy Engineering has been operating out of 40 BTM Layout for a long time now. BTM is a crowded area, so finding us can be a bit of a challenge if the traffic is bad, but we are right there in the middle of it. Our workshop is filled with the sound of metal being cut and machines humming throughout the day. It’s a noisy environment, but it’s the kind of noise that means things are getting made. We don't have a front office with a secretary or anything. Usually, you’ll find me or one of the guys covered in a bit of shop grime, looking over a blueprint or fixing a part. We take on various engineering jobs, some small and some that take up the whole floor for a week. The building at number 40 has seen better days, but the equipment inside is what matters. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent, and other times we close up early if things are slow. It’s not a polished business by any means. There’s old coffee mugs on the benches and scrap metal in the corners. But we know how the machines work and how to get a part back in order. Being in BTM Layout keeps us close to everything we need.
