Namma Event

Namma Event is located in Chamrajpet 3. It is a pretty busy part of the city, and our office is right in the thick of it. We spend most of our days surrounded by piles of decorations, fabric samples, and lists of vendors. There’s usually a lot of noise coming in from the street, but we don’t mind it much. Our space is more like a workshop than a proper office. We have tables pushed together where we plan out layouts for different events. It’s not uncommon to find someone sleeping on a chair during a very busy week or boxes of lights stacked up in the hallway. We don't really have a reception desk, so people just walk right into the middle of whatever we are doing. We do all the regular stuff like making sure there are enough chairs and that the food shows up on time. It is a lot of physical work, not just sitting at desks. We carry a lot of heavy stuff around. The floors are a bit scuffed from moving crates, and the windows are usually open to let in some air. We’ve been in Chamrajpet for a while, so we know the local markets pretty well. It’s a messy, busy, and honest way to earn a living. We don't use any fancy software, just a lot of notebooks and a shared calendar on the wall. It gets the job done for us and the clients.
