Nakoda Cell World

Being over here in Sunkadakatte, specifically in the Purandar area, means we get a real mix of people coming into the shop. Nakoda Cell World isn't some massive showroom; it’s a practical space where we deal with mobile phones all day. Most mornings start with checking the stock and seeing what repairs are left over from the night before. People bring in phones that look like they’ve been through a war, and we see what we can do. It’s not always easy getting the right components for the older models, but we try. The shop is small, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when three or four people are all waiting at once. I usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. We sell covers, chargers, and the usual stuff you’d expect. Sometimes kids come in just to look at the latest gadgets they saw online. The street outside is always moving, so we get a lot of walk-ins who just saw our sign. It feels good when someone comes back saying their phone is working perfectly again. We don’t do anything fancy with our displays, just put things where people can see them. It’s a lot of sitting and working with small screws and tiny parts, which can be hard on the eyes after a few hours of fixing screens.
