Naaz Furniture

Our shop Naaz Furniture is right there at 101 Infantry Road, near Palace Road. If you know the area, you know it stays quite busy with all the cars and people walking by. We spend most of our time surrounded by wood and the smell of polish. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep enough stock for people to see. There is always some sawdust on the floor, no matter how much we sweep it up. We have been at this spot for some time. The building isn't brand new, but it holds up well. Usually, one of us is in the back working on a piece while another stays up front to talk to whoever walks in. People come in looking for something for their homes, and we just show them what we have ready. Sometimes the noise from Palace Road is a bit much, but we are used to it by now. We don't really do much advertising. People just see the sign and come in. We keep our tools handy and the lights on until late most evenings. It is just a regular furniture place where we handle things ourselves. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It is just the furniture, some space to walk, and us working. Sometimes we sit on the stools we made ourselves when things get quiet for a minute. The dust gets everywhere, but we just wipe it off when a customer comes in to look at a wardrobe or a bed frame.
