N. K. Food Products

Over in HSR Layout, specifically on 9th Cross and 26th Main, you’ll find N. K. Food Products. We are at number 921. This part of the layout is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels a bit like a community. We’re usually busy with whatever food items are in season or in demand. The kitchen area is where most of the action happens, and it’s rarely quiet. We have a small group of workers who come in early to start the day's tasks. There’s a lot of cleaning and prepping that goes on before any actual packing happens. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people just knowing we’re here and that we do a decent job. The office part is just a small desk near the front where we keep the books. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, which is just part of living in this area. We like being in HSR because it’s easy for the staff to get to and it is a nice neighborhood to walk around during a break. We’ve been here for a few years now and have gotten to know the other shop owners on the street. It’s a basic operation, nothing too fancy, just people working hard to make food products that they’d be happy to eat themselves and share with their families.
