Our spot is located down at 13 New Tharagpet in the VTN Nagar area, right off S.G Barve Marg. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks coming in and out every day. If you’ve ever been near the market area, you know how it gets with all the loading and unloading going on. Heavy lifting and moving things from one side of the city to the other is what we handle. It’s not a quiet job. My brother and I usually start before the sun is even up because that's when the traffic is manageable. Small and usually smelling like tea and diesel fuel, the office isn't much. We've got a few regular drivers who have been with us for years. Shortcuts through the narrow lanes of New Tharagpet are something they know better than anyone. Paperwork and checking manifests take up a lot of time, making sure the boxes go to the right place. Sometimes the weather makes things late, or a truck needs a part replaced suddenly. That’s just how transport goes. A big fancy website isn't something we have. People just find us by word of mouth or seeing the signs near S.G Barve Marg. It’s honest work, even if the days are long. Ledger books stay on the desk to keep things organized so no one gets frustrated. Most of the time we are around the yard, making sure the loads are secured properly before the trucks head out.
