Mysore Steel Products

Our place is located on Mysore Road, right in the New Guddadahalli area. If you’ve driven down this road, you know how much traffic there is with all the trucks and buses passing through. We are situated in a spot where there is a lot of industrial activity. We deal with steel products, so the yard is usually full of heavy items and the sound of metal clanking. It is a dusty environment, but that is part of the job. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of the time, customers come in, tell us what they need, and we go find it in the stacks. The staff here is mostly local guys who have been working with steel for a long time. They know their stuff. We don't spend much on decorating the office; we’d rather just have the right tools and equipment. The weather gets a bit dry here, and the sun beats down on the yard, but we keep at it. It’s a simple operation without any layers of management. You talk to the person who is actually handling the steel. We have our routine every day, starting early before the heat gets too bad. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on moving the steel and making sure the counts are right. It's a loud place but we like it and it works for us.
