Mysore Mesh Perforators is located right in the middle of the action on S P Road. If you’ve ever been to Godown Street, you know how tight the space is and how busy everyone is. We are situated at No.7A, just opposite Town Hardware. It’s a very old part of the city and the energy is always high. There is a lot of noise from the street mixed with the sound of our perforating machines. We spend our days punching holes into metal sheets and making sure the patterns are right. It’s greasy work and our hands are usually covered in some kind of industrial oil by the end of the shift. Being near Town Hardware means there is always someone looking for something specific. We don't have a big reception area or a place for people to sit and wait comfortably. It’s a working godown through and through. The racks are full of metal sheets of all different thicknesses. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. Most of the people who come to us have been buying from this area for decades. They know S P Road is the place for this kind of work. We just do our bit in this little corner of the street, making sure the sheets are perforated correctly and loaded onto the small tempos that struggle to get through the narrow street traffic every afternoon.
