My Friends Place

My Friends Place is over at 272 JP Nagar, very close to the Nandhini Hotel. We picked the name because we wanted it to feel like somewhere you would just go to hang out. It is not a formal place at all. We have some tables and chairs, and we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed for everyone. Being in JP Nagar is great because there are always people around, especially in the evenings when things get busy. We see a lot of regulars who come in after work to wind down and chat. We do not have any big corporate rules or fancy uniforms. It is just us serving up what we have and making sure everyone feels okay while they are here. Sometimes the place gets a bit crowded and loud, but that is usually when it is at its best. We started this because we wanted a spot in the neighborhood that did not feel like a big chain. It has got its quirks, like the one table that always wobbles a bit and the menu that we sometimes forget to update. But people do not seem to mind much. They come for the familiar faces and the fact that they can just be themselves without any pressure. We spend a lot of our time just talking to the folks who walk in. It is a good way to run a business. We are right there near the hotel, so we are easy to spot from the street.
