Wood Worx

Wood Worx is located in the basement of the Shopatr Complex at 33/121. It's over in Murgeshpalyahal, right on the Airport Road. Being in a basement means it’s a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the sign near the stairs. We do a lot of woodwork here, mostly making furniture or fixing things up for people's homes. It's a dusty place because of all the sawing and sanding, but that's just the nature of the work. There's always the smell of wood and glue in the air. We have a few machines and a lot of hand tools that we use every day. It’s not a fancy showroom. It's more of a workshop where we actually get things built. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy for the shops upstairs, but we try to keep the heavy work to certain hours. We take on all kinds of small jobs, from fixing a broken chair to making a new cabinet. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. People usually find out about us because they live nearby or they're passing through Airport Road and need something done. It’s a lot of manual labor and measuring things twice. We try to be careful with the materials, though sometimes things don't fit exactly right on the first try. It’s a small shop with a few of us working together. If you need some wood stuff looked at, you can head down to the basement and find us.
