Mukund Furniture Products

Our workshop and office are over at 2 Srirampuram 1st Main in the Kalappa Block area of Ramachandra Puram. It’s a place where you can always hear the sound of saws and hammers. At Mukund Furniture Products, we spend most of our time around wood, glue, and nails. There is sawdust on almost every surface, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We make various types of furniture, usually just practical things that people need for their homes. The building isn't anything special, just a sturdy place to keep our tools and materials. Srirampuram is a hardworking neighborhood, and we fit right in. We aren't trying to be some high-end design studio; we just make stuff that lasts. Sometimes customers come in with a specific idea, and we see if we can build it for them. The 1st Main can get a bit congested with deliveries, but we are used to it by now. We usually have a few pieces in various stages of being finished. It smells like wood and varnish most of the time, which we don't mind. We take pride in just doing the work and seeing a finished chair or table at the end of the day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep building things and fixing up old pieces when people bring them in.
