Mukesh Metal Mart

If you are looking for Mukesh Metal Mart, we are at 29/1 Venkataramana Naik Lane, right off S P Road. It is a very tight spot, and the traffic on Magadi Main Road makes getting here a bit of a challenge most days. We have been here for a long time, and the shop is filled with all kinds of metal pieces, rods, and hardware. It smells like iron and oil in here, which I guess is normal for a metal mart. The lane is so narrow that you can barely fit a small truck through, so we do a lot of heavy lifting by hand. Our Po Box is 6944, but most people just walk in. The walls are lined with heavy wooden shelves that are bowing a little under the weight of the stock. It’s usually pretty dark inside because the buildings are so close together, so we have some old tubelights that flicker occasionally. We don't really have a formal way of doing things. If someone needs a specific pipe or a sheet of metal, we go out back and find it. It might take a bit of searching because things aren't always in the right place. We get our clothes dirty every single day, and the floor is always covered in some kind of metal shavings. It’s a tough business, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the shop running.
