Mukesh Agarwal

My name is Mukesh Agarwal and I’ve been set up here at number 33 on Kempa Gowda Road for some time. Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, lots of traffic and people moving around all day. It can get pretty loud outside with the cars and everything, but inside my place, it’s a bit calmer. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know the shortcut paths and where to get the best tea in the afternoon. My business isn't anything corporate. It’s just me and a couple of helpers sometimes. We keep things pretty straightforward. There's no fancy reception desk or people in suits. Just a desk, some chairs, and the work we have to do. I think it’s better that way because people feel more comfortable. They can just walk in and talk to me. I handle a lot of different things throughout the day. Sometimes the phone rings too much and other times it’s quiet enough to actually finish my paperwork. I like being right here in the middle of Gandhi Nagar because everything is close by. If I need supplies or have to send a letter, I just walk a few blocks. It’s convenient. Running a business at 33 Kempa Gowda Road means I see a lot of different faces. Some are regulars and some are just passing through. I enjoy the variety of it all. It makes the days go by faster and keeps me on my toes.
