Mrk Engineering Works

Mrk Engineering Works is based at 815/2 Hebbal Road, specifically near the 2nd Cross and 3rd Main on SRS Road. It’s a busy industrial kind of spot with a lot of noise from the traffic and the machines running in the shop. We’ve got a lot of heavy metal equipment and welding tools taking up most of the floor space. The air usually smells like burnt metal and oil, which is just part of the job when you’re doing engineering work. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you’re not from around here, but once you see the stack of scrap metal and the big doors, you know you’ve arrived. We spend a lot of our time hunched over workbenches or fixing parts that people bring in. The floor is always covered in iron shavings no matter how much we sweep. It’s a tough environment, especially when it gets hot in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been at this Hebbal Road location for years, and we’ve seen the area change as more buildings went up. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit, that's for sure. We’re just regular workers who know how to handle a wrench and a lathe. Most of our day is spent solving mechanical problems and making sure the machines are running right.
