Mohanraj

We have been here in Rajajinagar for quite a long time now. It’s a busy area especially in the mornings when the kids are heading to East West School which is just around the corner from us. Our place is on 7th Main in Subramanyanagar. People often ask for directions because the house numbers can get a bit confusing around here. It is a quiet street mostly but sometimes the traffic picks up. We just go about our business day by day. Most of the folks around here know who we are. It’s a standard residential setup. Nothing fancy to look at from the outside but it works for what we need. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat. I’ve lived in this part of Bangalore for years and watched the buildings change. My family is around too. We don’t really have a big sign or anything. It’s just Mohanraj’s place. You find us easily if you know where the school is. The 1900 building is right there. It gets dusty in the summer months. I try to keep the front clean but the wind brings the dirt back. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We are used to the routine. Every Sunday is quiet which is nice. I usually sit out for a bit. There’s a tea shop down the road I visit too. It is a simple life for us here in Rajajinagar.
