You can find us at 591 Chickpet Pali Naka. Mohan Times & Telecommunication has been sitting on this corner for quite a while. We started out mostly with watches and clocks, which is why "Times" is in the name, but these days we do a lot more with phones and SIM cards. The walls are lined with all sorts of things, from old-fashioned wall clocks that tick loudly to the latest mobile accessories. It’s a narrow shop, so if three or four people come in at once, it feels very full. We do repairs at a small workbench in the corner where the light is better. I usually have a magnifying glass out to look at watch gears or phone circuits. People from the neighborhood stop in for all sorts of reasons, sometimes just to ask for the time or to get a battery changed. We don't really do much advertising; word of mouth around Chickpet seems to keep us busy enough. The shelves are a bit dusty in the spots we can't reach easily, and the floor has some scuffs from all the foot traffic over the years. We aren't a big chain store, just a local spot where you can get your watch fixed or buy a recharge. We keep the radio on low in the background while we work. It's a simple life running a shop like this, and we like the people who come through the door every day.
