Modern Telecom

Modern Telecom is situated at Gnanajyothi Nagar Janabharthi Road, Mariyappana Palya 66/4. It's a bit of a journey for some, but for the people living around here, we are the go-to spot for mobile things. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. We handle a lot of telecom work and mobile services. The Janabharthi Road gets quite dusty because of all the construction nearby. We have to wipe down the glass counters every single morning before we start. It’s a bit of a chore, but it makes the place look better for the customers. We get a lot of students from the nearby colleges coming in for quick fixes or data plans. They’re usually in a hurry. We try to work fast, but some things just take time. There’s a small tea shop around the corner where we get our snacks. The owner there is a friend of ours. It’s a tight-knit neighborhood. We don’t spend much on advertising or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. The fans in the shop make a bit of noise, but you get used to it after a while. We enjoy the work, even when it’s just sorting through tangled cables or explaining how a new phone works to an elderly person. It's just a regular shop.
